Vine of the Mountains Church will be presenting “Created for a Purpose” summer camp for our community this summer, August
5-9 – 9am to 1:30 pm dailly.   We are partnering with the Vine by offering the use of our building during that week. It is a creativity camp for rising 3rd graders to 8th graders. The students will be divided by age groups and enjoy learning that they are created by God, in His image, for a purpose.  The campers’ week will be filled with awesome projects: sewing, cooking/ baking, paper crafting, painting, and building/sculpture; talks; devotionals; and worship.   Opportunities to volunteer: Counselors are needed (college and adult).  See Barb Dresdow for an application.

UPDATE:  18 campers have registered. The initial dream was for 60, but we are trusting God is in it and will be faithful with the few!
Cost of camp is $150. Several of the campers are in need of partial or full scholarships. Please be in prayer for the camp: donating funds to help sponsor a camper, any amount of money would be helpful.
AND that all the plans for camp will be established by God and that planning time will be efficient and creative.
